The Functions of the Secretariat of Directorate General Land Transport are :

1. To coordinate planning and program formulation to integrate land transport network, to arrange report and evaluation, and information system in road transport and traffic, inland waterways and ferry transport, urban transport and also land transport safety.
2. To organize and manage personnel employee affairs, administration, housekeeping in the scope of DGLC.
3. To manage finance and state inventory of the DGLC wealth.
4. To prepare the arrangement of law and regulation in the field of land transport safety as well as to give legal-assistance consideration and also to manage public and inter-institution relation and to prepare and manage the international cooperation.
5. To examine, evaluate and coordinate the implementation of the follow up of public’s report and functional inspection.
